Natural Highs is without a doubt the most effective and fun program anywhere in the world, offering teens an alternative to drugs and alcohol. As the name implies, it introduces kids to ways of getting naturally high and provides opportunities for them to do so.
One of the basic ways for kids or any human beings to get high naturally is really just about connecting with each other in healthy ways. It’s popularity among the teens that get involved is helping it spread within the local school district and beyond, even to other countries now.
Avani Dilger, a Naropa Graduate created and runs the program. She’s been doing this with great success for over ten years right here in Boulder. A major documentary on her work is due out soon.
